Some of my customers have been with me for over 30 years, because they trust Scientific to be the superior repairer on their car, and to grasp their individual needs. Customers usually reach to us in tall stress situations. They are apprehensive about insurance coverage, costs, and want to know when their lives can return to normal. Michael undertook the day to day running of their fresh business, with the aid of just one additional employee, and Michael and Gail did the accounts at evening and weekends, as Gail also worked in another industry during the week. During this time Michael worked six, twelve hour days every week. The factory was only capable to retain six or seven cars and so it became too little as Michael Gail’s goals were now set much higher. Michael, the opportunist with a vision, took on another very huge move. realizing the factory was now becoming way too small for his growing clientele he started a never ending search for bigger, more thriving properties. This 1,200 square mere factory was enormous in both structure and price, for a company who, at the time, only had two fulltime employees. From humble beginnings in a Chippendale garage in 1969, Scientific Motor Body Works has evolved into one of Australia's largest, maximum prestigious and technologically advanced automotive repair groups. Our entire workshop area across four locations Broadway, Matraville and Rose Bay, is over 14,00 square meres and our factory trained and qualified staff repair, on average, 120 vehicles per week. We also have a nationwide network of repairers, enabling us to present a national solution for accident management. We're an authorized and recommended repairer for 12 automotive manufacturers and many major dealerships. We're just as arrogant to provide services to individuals with one car as we are to a growing number of fleet customers, from the corporate sector through to Federal and State Government agencies, with fleets of 5 cars to well over 100. He purchased an existing body shop on Wattle Street in Broadway, which was a necessary acquisition in order to bring the business forward into the after era, and the location was perfect. Situated in Wattle Street, scaling in size of some 2800 square meters, it was to become much more than your ordinary fix shop. This was the authentic begin to Michael Gail becoming leaders in the market place. With Michael's worn and new customers subsequent his movements, he was capable to let the business grow, along with Scientific’s reputation for quality repairs and powerful customer service. Reassembly At this stage each vehicle is reassembled and a fitment quality check ensures that all parts and panels are fitted in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
